Please call the store you are trying to book with to check availability. Team members may be limited with their online booking availability.

Can I request a specific groomer?

Who do I contact if I do not receive a confirmation email?

If you do not receive a confirmation email, please reach out to info@puppyfades.com or call the store you booked your appointment with.

Will I be reminded about my appointment?

Yes, a member from our salon team will contact you via call or text to confirm your service the day prior.

What happens if I am late to pick-up?

You have a one-hour grace period from the time you are notified that your pet is ready for pick-up. After the one-hour grace period a daycare fee will be added to the price of your service.

Once I submit my appointment request, is it confirmed?

Not yet! Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive call or text from us. All online appointments are booked as pending appointments before they are confirmed by our salon team members in store.

How long should I wait before my puppy’s first haircut?

We recommend bringing your puppy in for their first bath and tidy as soon as they are fully vaccinated. By this age your dog may already need a haircut, and it is best not to wait too long to introduce them to the grooming salon and process.

What should I expect for my puppy’s first groom?

We suggest booking a bath and tidy for your puppy’s introduction to grooming. This service allows your puppy to become comfortable in the grooming salon. We encourage you to bring high value treats that your puppy loves.

Can I bring my puppy in to be groomed?

If your puppy has completed their puppy vaccines and their rabies vaccine they can come in for their appointment.

What is your pricing structure?

What vaccinations are required for Grooming Salon services?

Rabies vaccinations are required. We also recommend keeping your pet up to date with Bordetella, Parvo, Distemper, Leptospirosis and Canine Influenza.

Why is my dog still shedding hair after the de-shed service?

The de-shedding service uses special products that loosen compacted undercoat as well as additional brushing. Dogs have different shedding cycles that can happen multiple times throughout the year and last for varying lengths of time, for the best results book a follow-up appointment in 4-6 weeks.

My dog’s skin is very sensitive, is that something you can accommodate?

Yes, we have a fragrance free and non-irritating product line designed to be used on dogs with sensitive skin. Please be sure to request this as an upgrade at the time of booking. We also have an additional skin soother upgrade which includes hypoallergenic leave-in conditioner and paw and nose butter.

Can I bring my own shampoo and conditioner?

Yes, if it is a product that is meant to be used on animals. We cannot keep your products in our salon for future use, you must bring it with you during every appointment.

What should I do if my dog was sprayed by a skunk?

The odor from skunk spray is extremely difficult to remove from your pet’s coat with just one bath. If your dog has long hair the most effective way to combat the smell is to shave it down, this does not apply to double coated dogs. Please call the salon and speak with our team members so we can discuss options.

What can I do if I find fleas on my dog?

You can book a bath with a flea removal upgrade! We will use a medicated flea shampoo that sits on the coat and kills all fleas and eggs that are on the dog. To find out what flea preventative is best for you contact your veterinarian.

How often should I bring my dog in for grooming?

We recommend coming in for a grooming appointment every 4-6 weeks. Your groomer will also recommend to you a schedule specific to your pet's needs.
